How Invisalign Gets Teeth Straighter Faster

There are many reasons why you might want a straightened smile, from embarrassment at an uneven grin to oral hygiene issues with abnormally positioned teeth. With Invisalign®, we can deliver the exact results you're looking for without the time and hassle of braces. Invisalign clear aligners can improve your smile faster than traditional braces.

With Invisalign technology, George Saliba, DDS, and our team at GEMS Dental in Houston can analyze each tooth to plot the quickest and easiest way to attain a perfect alignment for your whole bite.

What is Invisalign?

With Invisalign, you get a series of clear, removable, customized trays. Every two weeks or so, you replace one set with a slightly adjusted set. By the time you take out your last set, you have the smile of your dreams.

With Invisalign clear aligners, you don't have to worry about unsightly and uncomfortable metal braces, wires, or rubber bands. We customize your alignment trays based on a high-tech 3-D scan of your bite.

You can remove your trays to eat and brush, so you can eat whatever you want, whenever you want. No foods are off-limits. You can even eat hard candy, taffy, popcorn, and beef jerky.

Invisalign also makes it easier to keep up with the sports and physical activities you love without worrying about painful oral injuries. The aligners lie flat against your teeth, with no sharp edges to cut your lips, tongue, cheeks, or gums.

Quick results

Invisalign works a lot quicker than traditional braces. With a mouthful of metal, you might have to wait 18 months to three years to see your full results. Invisalign can deliver aligned teeth in 6-18 months on average.

Furthermore, you won't have to come in for frequent painful appointments during the Invisalign process. Instead of tightening sessions that can leave you reaching for a soothing smoothie, with Invisalign, you just switch to the next aligner tray in your sequence.

We’ll give you a few sets of trays at a time, so you can switch them out every two weeks. You’ll only need to come into the office every month so we can check your progress. Every patient's pace is a little different, so Dr. Saliba will advise you on the best plan to achieve your teeth straightening goals.
